as long as you don't mix carbon and anti-carbon, you're ok.

Ya mix it. No issues. Just clean it first of course. Carbon dust.

Or don't use it! It simply removes meds and odors but a lot of bio media will have the same effect at keeping water clean!


Imo carbon is a waste of $$$$! 95% of the pros on here will say the same!

+1. Only time I would use it is in "emergency situations". But yeah you can mix.
