yes you can,but as stated not many species,and beleive it or not i found the mid sized to be best for this, i have parachanna obscura/channa pleuro/channa marulis togther,will post there pictures in a moment in the photo section of this section...
I also managed it with channa sp assam and channa pulchra but did not keep them together until adulthood, the sp assams were adults but pulchra were juvi adults
