Mixing cichlids

Would it be possible to keep severums with discus? Thanks Ray.

I could see it work in a very large tank, but that only depends on the individual personality of the severum, as I heard of stories of aggressive severums. Discus are delicate cichlids that do best in peaceful setups.

IMO it's best not to. Severums will out-compete your discus for food every time. Also, Heros tend to get pushy with discus when they get larger. I have kept them mixed in large tanks and I always end up separating them once the Heros hit 4 - 5".
