tank 1
larger pbass range around about 10inches (2 monos, 6 kels). medium about 7 inches (2 azuls. 2 tems).

tank 2
smallest all 6 are about 4.5-5 inches (4 orinos, 2 maybe kels/most likely orinos)

tank 3 6lx2dx3h feet

question is: is there a risk the smaller fish will get eaten or thrashed? Have seen the larger Pbass swallow big belly fan tail gold fish half the length (tail not included) of the smaller pbass.

all on diets of live shrimp/feeders/dried shrimp

thank you

I wouldn't risk it. Orino's and the Kelberi are the slower growers of the bass world. So, feeding them would be hard in the mix with the bigger bass, Due to the fact that the bigger bass have already established dominance. I would just power feed the little ones for the next 2 to 3 months to get them to the 6 to 7 '' mark, and will go from there.

wooo, looks a nice cichla collection! can't wait to see your photo update!

yea good call, that's how they're kept now, will continue to load them up.

thanks guys, will post photos when they are in a proper set up.

Orinos should be okay with cichla a good bit bigger than themselves. They're the pitbulls of the cichla world so they can fend for themselves with other fish.

Kelberi are the one's you have to watch. You're going to have to turn those Kelberi into aggressive eaters to have them stand any chance.

kel's are a bit reserved. they are the largest next to couple of monos but the monos and smaller azul/tems are way more aggressive at feeding time. it's really hard to get the 2 smaller kels to eat.

might seperate them all into 3-4 different tanks to get everyone up to speed.
