Mixing Electric Fish

I know there are some with multiple BGKs or Mormyrid in a tank and all. Just wanted to know how many of you have successfully mixed Electric Fish and how big is the tank?

i HAD (2 or so years ago) a breeding pair of BGK in a 300 gallon and i had a baby brown knife in there and nothing really happened. So mine mixed well. and at the end i had 11 BGK and 1 brown knife.

Hi, i have a tiger knifefish and a black ghost knifefish together in a 150 gallon tank with 4 caves. They have had no problems at all. Its been about 13 months. Mike

i have a bgk with an african and a baby clown, tank also has 2 sens 2 rops to tiger loches a fire eel and a peacock eel in a 55g till they get bigger

I've always been chicken about putting multiple Knives in my tank. The one time that I got a Gold and regular CK, the Gold died in a few days from being too fragile

I have 4 BGK fry in a tank together - only tiny at the moment, but my plan is for them to live together long enough to see if they will pair up.

So far - no issues but it has only been a week.

Really interested in hearing from those who have been successful with larger versions.

I pulled 4 BGK's in an 80gallon, all about three inches, never stopped fighting. Even had a dozen caves on multiple levels all around the tank. WWF of the cute fish department.
