My loach tank has a clown plec, a queen arabesque, and a rubbernose for algae. I had to get the sweetest Gold Nugget I have seen come in. I put him in that tank. Will there be fighting, or will they find their own spots? There is plenty of cover.

Well..... I mix them, with some success. I have an L-252 with a king tiger, a clown, a BN, a leopard and a butterfly and they have been fine for a while. I have never had a GN that lived over 4 days.

Although, They are all in a 120 with a few holey DW pieces with loaches and other bottom feeders, with a school of silver dollars.

I agree with WyldFya...

you might also consider moving things around so that all the plecos re-orient themselves...

I had 4 or 5 different fancy plecos in with my loaches and I never noticed any problems with any of them. They each had a lot of spots to hide and never really seemed to be close to each other. They all kind of did their own thing.

All is well. The Gold Nugget has one side of the tank, the Queen has the other. I'll try and get pics of the Nugget.

Maybe when the GN gets large... but be a long way off that. As long as everyone has a hideyhole, it'll be fine. I've personally mixed all those fish together and had no problems

The Queen died for absolutely no reason. The body was still in perfect shape and color when i pulled it out. Sucks, that was a nice one. I am getting another, the L-260 is definitely one of the top 5 plecs.
