Hi ,
I was wondering is there a predictable outcome from a cross of a Zhen zou RD with some type of Kamfah? I really like the color of my ZZ RD but I would liek to try to see if i could get greater KOK potential form a cross with a Kamfah? I am sure someone out there has tried this cross ....got any pics ... what are the outcomes? etc

Thanks
Tim

It all depends on what is the genetic going to throw out onto your fish. If you want kok size in general...Thai Siam, can't beat it.

so things like a pundant square are ineffective in regards to predicting outcome?
Thanks
Tim

well you relly dont know what they are gona look like. you can guess tho

The punnett square always plays a role in breeding.
The truth is, The process for creating new desirable FH's is soooo underrated. Its pretty much a giant puzzle with genetics.
At this point breeders have already crossed everything with everything. If the fry was spectacular then they are on the market. Im not trying to discourage you but I would breed pure.
One of the nicer newer strains ive seen is the (I beleive its called Tikumfa). Its a kamfa but the pattern is the green thai silk sheen. They look very nice.
