Is it safe to mix my 1.5-2 inch fronts into a tank with larger fronts (about 4.5-5 inch) fronts. What sizes are safe to mix without the chance of the smaller ones getting eaten by the larger ones. thanks.

I'd worry about not only getting eaten, but getting picked on. How many frontosas are involved? and how many of each size?

same here , i wount worry bout being food , but being picked on , myself i keep 3-4 in ones with a 8+ in male.

what size tank?

me , there ina mix community 135 g.

there's 5 ranging from 4.5-5 inches and 8 ranging from 1.5-2 inches. they were going to go in a 100 gallon. I was thinking of keeping the 5 in a 55 gallon for a bit so the 8 could grow faster in the 100 gallon. probably won't make much of a difference and should keep them the other way around. thanks

With the smaller ones in the 55, you can feed and change the water more often.
