Mixing Fry????

I have Cuban fry that are about a week old, my Carpintas just laid eggs that I expect will produce fry in a day or two. My questions is, can I put the Carpintas fry in with the week old Cuban fry without causing problems?

usually, when there is fry bigger than others, IME, they eat them. You can, however (depending on the size of the tank, buy a plastic divider made for fry tanks that enables you to divide them. usually for 10-20$ at petsmart or petsupermarket is where Ive seen them.

I wouldn't do it...

I grow out fry in net breeders...it allows me to concentrate feeding, keep multiple types of fry in the same tank, and clean the tank easily without sucking up fish.
