Title says it all. What do you guys think. I have a few red heads but really want a few altifrons. Couldn't find much online about this. They would all be juvie size and in a 75 gallon for now until they outgrow it and than will be added to my 220 or a 180. I would just start them in a 220 right now but I have a real nice pair of umbees in their that I don't want to let go of. I know geos are slow growing so they should be fine in a 75 for a while until I can save up and get a place that always to add another big tank.

You may be able to get away with it for a while, but altifrons get big and Tapajos I would consider medium sized so you would potentially face some pushy behavior from the altifrons down the line.

Ya I knew that. I think if they were in a 220 they would be fine but I guess if I do mix them up I will just have to keep an eye on them. They would also be with 7 paretroplus menarambos and 3 rokteil severums

Because the Paretroplus get at least 14", trying to squeeze 2 types of Geos in that space with them, may become a bit tight. I had 5 P menerambo take over a 6 ft tank, leaving no room for any other fish. It does take time though, yet eventually I had to move my menerambo into a 300 gal rubbermaid horse trough, after about 3 years.
