Mixing Knifefish?

Can you mix knife fish?

I know you shouldn't mix knife fish with electrical senses with others but could you mix an electrical sense knife with a non-electrical knife? Like a BGK with an African Knife fish or Asian knife fish?

which ones shouldn't be mixed? and which can be mixed?

Not all I have a buddy and his royal and clown bred in his tank and there babies had cool markings some had triangles were the spots are ment to be on the ck and some had circles with lines inside. So most will get along and some don't and im sure any 2 fish could live together if you had. Big enough aquarium.

Notice I said most. Of course any combo in theory could work in a big enough tank but what happened with your buddy was an exception not the norm

You have to try. I only know about clowns and royals. Some mix well, some never.

Thanks for the info guys. I guess i will have to try it out. I just wanted to know in theory that i could work and be a big no no for other reasons than aggression. If that guy ever messages me back................

as stated some mix others dont. i have had bgks together and cks in the mix with them. i have also had ck and rck together. i have had all of the above not mix.
