Would a group of Nanoluteus and a pair of Thorichthys live happily in a 75 gallon together (48x18x21)? I will selling my 60 gallon cube (because I hate the dimensions) and replacing it with a 75 gallon and I am trying to figure out what I want to stock it with. I am probably going to place an order with Jeff Rapps, so I was thinking about a group of 5-6 Nanoluteus and a pair of Thorichthys Maculipinnis. I do have a 20 gallon long that I could put the nanoluteus in, but I have heard that they do much better in groups and that tank would only hold a pair. I haven't kept any Thorichthys species yet, so I would be grateful of everyone's input :)

Thanks,
Katie

Edit: Oops, I didn't mean to post in the media lounge. If mod could move this post I would appreciate it. Thanks!

I don't see why it wouldn't work to mix nanos and ellioti. Not sure if breeding pairs would work though. I would try it and if it doesn't work, then use that back up tank. Get them all at the same time.
Sounds like a great tank.

Thanks for the input :) I'm not sure why that mix is so intriguing to me, but I would really like to try it and see how it works. I will keep that 20g open just in case.
