hello all they say to vary your fishes diet and i have a bag of hikari cichlid gold, a bottle of omega one cishlid pelets, and a tube of nls cichlid pelets. all are sinking i was gunna mix them all up and feed this as normal staple has anyone else done this or have any advice i think it will work ok

I tried it once with 2 different kinds of pellets, and one just all made it's way to the bottom of the container. Just feed some from each bag..

I have absolutely no evidence to support this but I have always felt it is better to feed different types of foods in different feedings.

Its the only way to be sure they are actually getting a varied diet. If you mix them together, some of your fish could be eating only one or the other rather than both types. Its better to just stick to one type per feeding. I use around 10 different dry foods (on top of the fresh and frozen stuff) and just alternate for each feeding.
