Im thinking of mixing Endlis, Delhezis, Senegalus and Ornatipinnis with Malawi predators like Nimbochromis venustus and Livingstonii and such in a 140g .
What are your thoughts about this?

Right now I have a polli and delhezi in with a bunch of malawi haps. Aside from the issue of getting food to the bichirs they do fine, but I have noticed they are a lot more shy and I see them less than the dels & pollis I have growing out by themselves in a 30 gallon.

ok, that sounds good. So you don´t have any problem with the cichlid attacking the polys?

Nope, the polys are both about 7" though. I added a smaller senegal a while back (about 3") and they killed that one.

umm..okay. so you have had an aggro problem with cichlids and polys after all??

Lol, I probably should have explained a little better.

The only problem I have had was with a very small poly. I didnt see how he died, but I think my Livingstonii probably tried to eat him, the senegal was 2-3" and my livingstonii is 7". With my larger polys I haven had any problems.

I also have some spiny eels that have been with the africans for a lot longer than the polys and I have never had a problem with them either.
