Mixing rays with polypterus

Has anyone ever succeeded in putting rays with polyps?
If so what species did you put together?

Ive done it with motoro and p13 and a dozen polypterus with 20 inch plus congicous down to 10 inch delhezi never had an issue.

Got a endi and ornate both around 18" with adult rays and no issues at all

I had delhazi weekii and had problems getting food to then past p14

ive seen quite a few pics with polypterus/birchir recently. its something ive always wanted to have but ive never done it because people say the birchir death roll with the rays.
( i got a couple of young ones and put them in with a young ray but the small ray killed them each time i tried... for reference).

its looking better and better for keeping these together.

Thanks for all the replies. I have a 10inch motoro and was wondering if i could move it to my bichir tank. It has 1 b.v endli, 2 pbb and a lap

I've got some 14" endli with adult male ray, no problems.

I once had them in with a pregnant female that gave birth,
One pup completely disappeared- assumed swallowed whole. Came home to a half eaten pup. Never again with expecting Rays!

That's my personal experience.

Had endli and ornate but endli had to go due to biting rays. Ornate still in there and no issues with him.
