Ok i 've got a 7" cobra and hopefully 2mo ill get another two, so il have 3x 6"-7", and i have 2x 3" red/tiger's obviously its a no go at the mo, but i figure, the reds will eventually catch up with the cobras in size, and when they do, could i tank them together, i no ideally they should all be the same size and tanked together from youngest possible age but could it work? i figure a big tank will be needed, and i was thinking 7'x4'. and any chance the 5 of them working in a mixed monster tank? with 3x aro's, fl/sp gar, rtc, aft, poly endi, poly ornate, bowfin, SAL and a ray? this way i could go huge on tank size, like 10+'x6'... if it could work, how big a tank would be optimal for this sort of a mix?

lol yeah, ovi... read what i wrote.... "obviously its a no go at the mo, but i figure, the reds will eventually catch up with the cobras in size, and when they do" never intended to put them straight together! just wna no ifit could work in the long run???

Red can be very funny if they grow up with the other fish they tend to tolerate them a lot better than having just been thrown in with them as for an Arowana my red and my mates have eaten a few in there time it seems anything that has that fluffy pulsating action to it ends up getting taken out.

ive done it with my cobra and red, before attempting the comm, they had a divider between them to "get familiar" with each other for a month. they fought initial, but just minor skirmishes to establish dominance. once the cobra established its position they fighting completly stopped. later some Gars were added.

Hmmm... is that reds dont mix with aro's or sh dont mix with aro's? as my cobra is in with my black aro at the mo and i'm not lossing my black! thou if the cobra does go for the black,, my fl gar would minc e meat him! no one touches the gars best bud! but that would leave two dead fish and that is not what i want in the slightest so is it a serve risk?
