Mixing species

can when there are same size
full grown ornate could eat a full grown seg. up to th individual if it does or not

Mixing bichirs of the same size range is not a problem.

I had mixed a large lap with small senegal and in the end, the senegal becomes food for the lap. :(

I have a delhezi, ornate, and albino senegal in my 150, all are 5-6".

From what I've seen in other people's collections, varied species of a similar size will fare well if you feed enough. A large size disparity may lead to predation though.

I have 17" ornates in the same tank as 6" albino sens and others. No problems.

sure as long as nobody can eat each other then sure theres people here with allmost all the species in the same tank

I have a 5-6" sen with a few 10-12" lower jaws and he gets along okay. Couldn't find big sens in my area.

I feed a lot though to ensure that stability. :)

Yeah, keepeing up on the feedings is key.
