mixing treatments!!!!! question?????

Ive been using esha anti algi treatment in 1 of my tanks as there is alot of suspended algi, never had this prob before but it is a tank in the house and the sun shines onto it. I have blacked out the sides and the back and been treating since yesterday. My albino artc got himself into the prefilter last night and hurt his fins bad, i would like to put some melafix in to treat him so he will heal a bit better without the stress. My question is, would i beable to mix melafix with the anti algi treatment im using??? it wouldnt be mixed together obviously but i would be treating now rather than later as the algi stuff is a 7 day course.

Just read Lupin's sticky about meds and found this....................
Melafix
Active ingredients: 1% melaluca oil
Diseases: wounds and tattered fins, bruises
Contraindications:
There were some situations where Melafix itself proved fatal on some fish species such as bettas as it was alleged that the oil can clog gills and therefore obstruct breathing. Not to be used with labyrinth fish or oxygen-challenged specimens.

Compatible with Pimafix and anything else.
