I am thinking of a turtle that is fully aquatic to mix with my fishes. The fish im mixing with the turtle would be as follows :

1x Emperor Snakehead
1x Giant Snakehead
1x RTC x TSN hybrid catfish

Yeah, i know those are big fish. Dont worry bout that. Is a musk turtle too small?

First of all, are musk turtles illegal in malaysia?

If they arent, is there anyone from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia who knows where can i get them from? I would like to look at them in person without having to look at them over the internet.

A speedy reply is most appreciated :D

hah thats what i thought so too since i've read ur thread so many times lols. Thanks for answering that question.. only question now is where do i get it from in KL.

Oh and it would also be great if someone could state the price range so that i wont get ripped off.. :D

I do not know where you can get them there but stateside, mud and musk turtles should not be more than $50. I cannot imagine them being too much more expensive over there but I don't know for sure.

I dont think a musk turtle would be confy around that kind large predatory fish. Have you considered a large snakeneck turtle? They normally leave alone fish too big to eat. A large Pseudemys would do as well, they are mostly herbivors.

its very difficult to find any other species than red eared sliders and chinese softshell turtles.. how about the chinese softshell turtle? they look quite awesome and it seems that they probably grow to about 10 inches o.O
are they too aggresive?

You probably could but your prized fish are going to endup with bite scars no doubt.
