I ran out of prime. I ordered some seachem safe powder. I have an empty 500ml prime bottle and i want to mix up some prime in the bottle using safe. I want to mix it up in the same concentration so that 5 ml treats 50 gallons. How much safe do I add to the 500 ml bottle after I fill it up with filtered water?

Better off calculating how much Safe you need per water change, and adding that directly to the tank before filling with tap water. Unlike Prime, Safe does not contain any stabilizing agents hence it will not remain stable in solution (beyond approx. 30 days) so the mix should be used fairly straight away.

Yes, it can. Read the label, or check online, Seachem is pretty clear on how to use their products.

I know it can if you put in like 6 times as much, but it is so concentrated that it is hard to get an exact amount for a small tank.

I just do a few drops of prime per bucket (3 gals of water in) and stir

My seachem safe came today and I need to do water changes on both of my 40 breeders. It says to add 1/4 tsp per 300 gallons. How much should I add for each 40?

There should be a calculator in your phone to make it simple
