as i already got the sp44 on my 210gallon ...but i'll get the "flame back" ( spelling) the sp44 been in the tank for a while i dont think he or anyone else had a problem with that , but i dont know about the flameback that im gonna thrown in the ..anyone want to get me their 2cents
thanks

imo vics shouldn't be mixed at all, haps will get too big. surviving and thriving are 2 different things

Ya know it is a big enough tank it should work...I have malawi, tangs, and vics but have been VERY careful of what I tried mixing. The sp 44 is going to be far more aggressive then the flameback. For malawi I have a couple lithobates, and peacocks, they are pretty mellow and not too huge. I have a couple calvus/comps for tangs...They do great as they don't seem to bother anyone and vice versa, and then my 2 sets of vics. MY fish are doing awesome and I love the look of the tank.

I have Peacocks, haps and Mbunas in my tank with a few oddballs. They all do quite well except for when i add a new fish in that tank. They dont last long.:irked:

how big is your tank? i get tempted to do the same thing whenever i see a pretty one from each group, except i just have a 55g.

This tank is a 90 gallon but ive done it in a 55 years ago except on a little smaller of a stock. The only problem i had was when i tried to add in Auratus-sp?.No one can guarantee that it cant work and know one can guarantee it can.Africans are always a toss up but i did it for the same reasons your pondering it.
