Mixing with Loaches?

My LFS has Freshwater Red Claw Crabs for $2.00. I'd love to throw one in my system 12 with my 2" baby clown loaches. Has anybody mixed the two sucessfully?


On the same note, I have a 7" clown, a 6" yoyo and a 6" Sydontis in my 55 Parrot tank. Can I add a Blue Lobster to the mix? If so, what kind do you suggest?

i have thought about doing the same thing with clowns and crabs or blue lobsters and was told it was a bad idea at LFS that i trust so i never did it was told that if loaches did not kill them they would kill loaches

I am not familiar with the red claws but crabs and crays are notorious for killing fish, especially bottom fish like loaches.
