mmm gold nugget

I currently have a 14cm gibby pleco, whos doing fine, but i found some gold nuggets on the cheap side and was wondering, has anyone had agression issues. I have tried this mix before (with different fish, and the GN bullied the gibbiceps too much).

does anyone have preferences to male and female in these species regards to size? I know they have poor growth rates

Golden nuggets can be quite tough on other bottom fish if your tank isn't big enough.

Take a look at planetcatfish...

I currently have 2 L-018 golden nugget males.. My tank is still big enough for both

nuggets in my experiance should be kept alone

my gold nugget is actually the most gentle pleco i have i have a clown pleco and it is a lot more territorial than the others. the clown will chase my catfish out of its area when the nugget gets along great with them. maybe i just got lucky though.

just noticed mine didnt feed well with others have a queen abrabsque thats alone for that reason too bad my last nugget died from stress bought from the lfs he was in a crowed tanked and starved to death i tryed to save him no luck though
