Wow just like mine! My males loves night crawlers and anything BUT my female hates others and loves and will only eat worms....

Yea, I should probably be careful and vary the diet a little more so that he doesn't get stubborn.

I know theres been some discussion about mala's being more shy at younger ages with their feedings. I've recently found this to be true. My mala (about 8 months old/9 inches long) has been very shy with his feeding up until last week. He has recently been swimming to the top of the tank, back, and forth, urging me to drop in the food..haha. I dont know if it was the recent addition of the worms to his diet or just his growth and new demand for more food. He's also destroyed the 3 inch cray fish that was in their for over a month that I was certain he would never eat.

Yea, it's awesome! He has no fear now, as soon as I walk into the door he charges to the stop and starts shaking for food!
