Visited the zoo today. got a membership, and Saw Sharks 3D at the Imax. They have a couple of great Giant Gouramis. I got some good shots of them. I had to weave my way through the stupid land animals, around the plethora of screaming kids, elbow aside some fat people to get them, so enjoy. Also got some shots of their marine fish and inverts, and a couple dolphins. If dolphins are so smart, why do they keep getting caught in those fishing nets? I went to visit Underwater Adventures, but there was a damn line to get into the parking ramp. I said f that, I'll go next weekend. I can't wait to see the Amazon exhibit.

Have to bring it some time, for old times sake.

I find it odd I really like the MN tanks better than Georgia Aquariums. (Though I have to say that the 1 big tank at GA is amazing). (Maybe it is because I was born and raised in MN, but still tank for tank I enjoyed MN's.)

Well I grew up in Delano, MN. Went to St. Olaf College, and now I am going to GA tech for my PhD. (Well I will have earned my masters by this summer, have to decide if ~4 more years of this is really worth it.)
