These are wild-collected Cyphotilapia gibberosa from the M'Toto/Moba region of The Democratic Republic of the Congo (Zaire). Thought some of you would like to see them
Enjoy
I have never heard of the Gibberosa. I assume a very close relative to the Frontosa. Do you anticipate many different strains being classified into new species?

Cyphotilapia genus has two species in it. Cyphotilapia gibberosa and Cyphotilapia frontosa. Gibbs have 6 stripes in general and Fronts have 7. All are commonly called "Frontosa" as a common name though.
Those are nice Moba. I keep mobas myself and consider them and the similar localities to be the nicest. Deep blues and purples, less white and pure blacks...
