History has proven that most threads are started before the poster(s) do even a casual search of the site. But, I've made the thread a sticky. And, to make it easier to view, I'll remove all posts that don't contain a species synopsis to make the thread easier to scroll through.

Its annoying because pop up everyday when there is this thread that could answer there question without having to make a thread.

Well,I provided an answer for that.I have no problem with certain threads being made a sticky though....the members photo thread in the introduce yourself sub forum would be a good one.

Thank you, but hopefully ,if they post in general aquaria section, they see the wall of stickies and notice one that pertains to their question.

Funny, "10g what should I get" are annoying to you. Yet the general "What fish should I get" or "what should I put in my 40g" are OK?

Stickys can offer information on a selection, but they don't offer much in people's personal opinion or experiences. Which is the main diving force for online forums such as this.

I never said it was alright, if I knew about that thread you never would have seen my "What fish should I get" or "what should I put in my 40g".
