Mold or fungus growing

Just cleaned my tank yesterday. Today I added some food this morning. I over fed a little I my rush to get to work. Tonight I see a very thick,white mold or fungus (very fuzzy) growing around the food particles. I haven't seen this before. Is it bad and if so what can I do?

Not bad per say, not to any healthy fish anyway. It's a fungus. Everything is amplified in water from hearing to smelling and even "decay". No worries though, just keep up your water changes and keep your fish healthy and you will not see any problems arise from it. This same white fungus will however grow on any wounded fish though.
