Mollies as dither

i got some young 3" pbass and i was thinking about getting a 2 or 3 mollies to use as dither fish, as well as a constant food scource. what do you guys think?

sounds good to me if they last long enough to breed, I thought about breeding Sailfin Mollies when my fish get bigger.
 
They would never keep up! Feeder guppies are cheaper! Even they don't reproduce/grow fast enough...

ok but the closest place that sells feeder guppies it about 30min away, but there are other pet stores closer that only sell roise minnows
 
Then feed them Rosies! :)
 
It's same with trying to breed your own feeders with any fish. It takes to long to breed/produce fry/grow out to reasonable size to keep it consistant. If you want to feed feeders you kinda have to buy 'em to keep it regular unless you have mad breeding operations for feeders.
