mollies

Pretty Quick if the water is good they like hard or brackish water and are real sensitive to nitrites/nitrates

I’m my particular experience it would be harder to keep the mollies from getting pregnant than worrying that they will not get pregnant. They are so cute when they are so big that they look like they are going to explode. Keep lots of plants (fake or real) floating at the top so that they can hide from the other fish. If they are white fry they are difficult to see at first because they are almost completely translucent. Other than that they pretty much take care of themselves.

I have one male and four females, how long does it normally take for them to get busy?
All I do is a water change, feed them well (frozen blood worms) and sit back and collect the fry. I think the males like their women plump.

Get another male, salt the water 1 tbsp/5 gallons, feed well, once they start expect batches of fry about once a month
