Ya they tend to do that.

One of my females back in the day dropped like 70 fry. GUESS WHO DIED FROM EATING EVERY SINGLE ONE?

THE OG Bob the Betta..... he died happy. I'm now on Bob v.3.0.

I got a half moon red Bette at work in a 10g, I was thinking about dropping in a female just to watch the mating process.

male catches and puts the eggs in a bubble hatchery. might be cool to see.

Yah the bubble nests are neat. Maybe I will get mine a female once I figure out whether or not to sell my 29 or not.

might be an issue as I run a marine land 450 on the 10g tank, lol. but I keep the water level up might be ok.

Add more filter media or a chunk of sponge on the overflow or intake. Should slow the flow down. Also op should do that for his molly fry so they don't get sucked in. Had lots of luck selling those yellowy orange guys vs the black ones.
