Mom forced to watched son get paddled at School

I don't know the full story(such as what started this, or if the Mother was really forced to watch).

From what I got from the article was she was forced to watch and the school said either she goes to jail or the kid gets spanked. I'm confused on how the 2 are related. If it's from the kid missing school...that's on her and the kid should not punished. If he did something wrong, why would she go to jail?

Personally, I believe parents should have say so over if kids get punished. The kid appears to be 5-7.

I would be suing the school myself if the mother didn't want her kid spanked.

You know it's a credible scource when the writer has purple hair.

Funny how the kid never actually got hit with the paddle. He just got his butt groped by a middle aged woman.
 
Yea, I mentioned that to my wife that the kid never actually got spanked(on Video). There's alot of holes in this story.

I know my parents supported me getting spanked in school. I got it at least 3 times that I could remember(70's-80's).

The school didn't break the law and the mom did. Why in the world is the mom trying to flip the blame on the school? Would it not bring attention to the fact she's not qualified to be a parent?

You need a license to fish but not to have a child.

I don't get that either....on the other hand in this town I have heard of a case where a kid was carrying on and his parent was called to the school....after the parent arrived and was briefed he whooped his child right on the spot and school officials reacted by calling the police and having the guy arrested.
 
Okay so full story: His mother was arrested two weeks ago for truancy because Thomas (son) missed 18 days of school for doctor’s appointments. The principal told the mom if he (son) could not get a paddling (for fighting/spitting classmate) he would have to be suspended and if he got suspended for even one day the mom WILL go to jail for truancy. In 19 of the States corporate punishment is still legal.

As a mercenary and father of multiple kids through out the northern hemisphere I find this sickening and disgusting. Vote Deez Nuts 2K16, he will outlaw corporate punishment.
