Moms 30g Tank......

Im at my moms house for the weekend and Recently i gave her a 30g tank.... She has since then bought two Male convicts(pink and striped) and also she has an african mbuna in the mix....... the 5inch Pink Convict is the dominant and is terrorizing the other two...So i told her dont buy no cichlids unless you talk to me first and tomorrow i will be taking the smaller convict and the mbuna back to the LFS....anyways well she doesnt want one fish to the tank, so Im wondering what could be some top dweller fish, and also a bottom dweller?
My guess is a Striped Raphael Cat for the bottom and for the top maybe some large tetra...any opinions on tankmates?

pictus cats like 3 it would be a little crowded, or a raph cat, and tiger barbs (like10) or giant danios.

Depends what you're/she's wanting to do with the tank. She could could with 13-14 demasoni's. Would need solid filtration and weekly water changes. Get less than that and they'll destroy each other til 1 is left. Those are Africans though.


I'm not sure what you'd get away with in that size tank as far as CA/SA goes. Maybe some kribs or rams? I thought I'd seen someone suggest a pair of firemouths and nothing else?

Yea a school (~5) of tiger barbs or giant danios would be cool. I'm sure the pink convict would have fun chasing those around.
