Monitor like lizards that stay small?

dude 300 for an ackie is insane. i can get timors for $150, and ackies for $125.
some of the anoles look a little like monitors, like cuban knights or even bahamians. also frillies have some resemblence to a monitor. your best bet is prob a timor though, small, calm, and a true monitor.

The Timor I'm getting is $70.

Where can you find ackies for 125? I've looked all over the net and can't find any that low.

Ameivas look too much like Anoles for my taste. I liked aggressive dinosaur-like lizards, and monitors fit the bill.
