I'm after some advice on monitoring tank stats.
-----Can anyone tell me where i can get an acurate PH meter/monitor online that will deliver within the UK.
I'm keeping a eye on my tanks. I have alot of bogwood in my tanks that tends to lower the PH. I'm getting annoyed with my PH test kits and want to find a better way of testing PH in the tanks and my tap water.
------I would like a pH and temperature monitor in one if possible.
My temperatures seem to be creep up higher than i have set my heaters. For example both heaters on one of my 180gal are 300w and set to 26degrees C, but the temperture stays around 28 degrees. I use the temperature sticker that sticks on the side of the tank which i don't think this is very accurate.
------Nitrate testing
Whats the most acurate Nitrate test. I use API nitrate tests but the colour always seem to fall between two colours on the chart. Does anyone have any other preffered test kits. I went and bought Nutrafin, tetratec and some other tests yesterday. I want to do my own experiment on which one i find the most accutrate. My biggest fear in doing this experiment is going to be if they all show differant results. Which test kit to believe????? Personally i think i'll go with the one that shows the most nitrates.
Thanks in advance
