well thanks to my older senegal bichir, my ornate has started to eat market shrimp! lol my ornate was watching the sen during feeding, and right after i dropped another piece of shrimp my ornate went straight for it!

congrats! i have experienced this too, especially when training wild caughts onto pellets, it easier when you have some established bichirs already on pellets.

My delhezis for ages preferred frozen foods over the dry stuff until I added some new baby senegals to the tank. The little sens know what pellet food is and few days later so did the dels.
