Mono bass prices?

Thanx, that was very helpful info. I went to pick up a lima shovel nose cat from someone I know, but when I got there, he wanted me to take a peacock bass also. I didn't want it, but he couldn't keep it no longer. He had it growing in a 55 gal with the lima snc & a 16" achara cat. The peacock bass was beat up, looked like a jacked up tilapia. He's looking very nice now after almost two weeks. Those guys bounce back quickly. Anyways, the guy wants 75.00 for the bass & 75.00 for the lima. I guess the price for the bass is fair, but the 8" lima kinda high. Again, thanx for the responses.
