mono problem?

are monos known to be agressive tward everything?...idk if i just have a dick-head mono or what...it has killed a bgk, beat another bgk, eatten 2 silver aros, attacks my larger silver aro, beats up my lima...this thing is a beast...my orino picks alittle at a fish, the mono sees that happening then unleashes the fury on the other fish...i don't get it...it is well fed, but a prick...is this normal?

It depends on the individual fish, how aggressive it is. Some are super aggressive and r bullies and others arent. Its not unusual to have an aggressive mono.

no...i have small bichirs in one tank, small payara, dats, jardini, and catfish in another, small lungfish and eels in another and trout in another...it was one of the last entrants into this tank...it just started eatting shrimp so the lack of preditory actions on feeders might calm it down...i hope...

ya i got a thread for it...i lost 2 of my three due to a fungus outbreak...i will have to update it with some more pics soon...it is in the native section under "the tank everyone wants to have"...i just got a new temperary tankmate for the trout... till i can get it eatting shrimp/prawn atleast...
