I just purchased a Mono Sebae to add to my 55 gallon Brackish tank. His tankmates are 2 GSP and 1 figure eight, along with two knight gobies. The tank he was in at the store had similar fish in it, so I figured he would be ok in mine (the knight gobies were purchased with him) He is hanging out in the top corner (switches sides from time to time) and I have not seen him eat anything. The store had him in a freshwater tank with a ph of about 7.2. My ph is higher (8.0) and I have a tablespoon of salt per 5 gallons. I check my water quality weekly, and don't have any issues (that I know of) Is there anything I should be doing for him? I am concerned in that he isn't swimming around, and that he isn't eating. I have heard these guys are active and mine isn't.
