I just set up my first brackish tank the salinity is 1.010 and the tank cycled for 2 weeks with stability I just added my first fish a mono sebae who is about 7 inches tall from freshwater to brackish with a drip line over an hour and a half and after adding him he is grey but still swimming around and acting normal is this normal?

Should be; the fish is probably pretty stressed. If there's enough cover and the lights are dim, the fish will probably be fine tomorrow. You probably already know this, but I'm going to say it anyways: please test for ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate daily.

7" is pretty large. How big is the tank?

And I will test everyday and should I use my saltwater test kit or my freshwater
Depends on the brand. If it's API, those are basically universal kits (they test for both fresh and saltwater).

I am keeping monos myself, and I just bumped this thread to ask how yours is doingand if you would post some current photos?

I purchased mine at just 1.5” tall, and they are now over 6~7”tall.
