I have 3 mono sebae (~2" long, 3" tall) in a 110 gallon tank (48x18x30)with 3 silver scats (2.5" long), 1 archer (3"), 1 dragon goby (6"), 1 knight goby (2.5"), 1 neovespicula depressifrons (1.25"), and an as yet unidentified goby that was sold to me as a 'Samurai goby' (1"). My question is, given the size of my monos what SG should they be at by now? I have them in 1.004 water now and my tentative plan is to raise the SG .002 per week until I get to about 1.008, or until their colors lighten up, and keep it there for a while. I know I should gradually raise the SG as they get older but at what rate? Does anybody have a rough estimate of mono growth rate (inches per year/month, etc), or at least a rough estimate as to how old my 2" long by 3" tall monos might be? I want to be able to make them comfortable and judging by the dark colors they have been sporting since I purchased them 1 month ago, they are not liking something about their environment! Sorry so long (again) but thanks a million!!
