has anybody kept monos or scats in water that is semi brackish (lightly salted but not to the point of brackish, i have datniods) or does anyone knowif they would do well in this setup??

Both species are SW fish as adults. You're going to need a really HUGE tank. Scats need 50g ea & monos are schooling fish that need the same.
