bothell, wa
how do i fix his eye. just one of his eye has almost a glazed white spot right in the middle. i read somewhere that a lack of nutrition can cause this but im feeding him uncooked shrimp. what else could it be

did he hit it on anything?
or recently have an "out of tank expierence" lately?

did it just suddenly appear? how are the water params?

cloudy eyes are usually a sign of dirty water.. do 50% or better water change, treat the tank with salt and keep the temp up around 88 degrees.

you may have to do several water changes every other day to get the water to good levels, you should buy yourself a $30 API freshwater test kit and test the water at least once a day till you get good readings on all of the tests.

you want the tests to read 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, and more than zero but less than 30 PPM nitrates.

I had the same exact thing happen to my orinos. Morledzep took the words right out of my mouth. Up the temp, do water change at least every 3rd day and use salt for the new water every time.

My fishes eyes cleared in about 2 weeks completely. The cloudy eyes slowly goes away. That's my experience.
