Monster bala sharks

Scored 3 monster bala's this weekend, these guys are probably 10-11" each and very plump. I found a local LFS that is going out of business and I got them for $15 each, they are happily cruising in my 150 at the moment. Sorry for the crappy pics, using cell and they won't stay still lol! Also got some NLS pellets for cheap while I was there and one of the bala's seems to love them, he's been picking them off the water and making smacking sounds - greedy little beggar.

Yeah, I saw them and the price & just pulled out my wallet.. have a few other balas growing out but they are nowhere near that big yet.

Ps did you see the latest episode of atm? They had an 8 gallon with numerous ballas, rainbows, pictus and fetherfins. Bet theres a pic somewhere.

8 gallon, seriously? Don't know how they do that, these guys are in a 6 foot 150 and can cruise from one end to the other in about 3 secs. They were in a 75 at the LFS, said somebody brought them in for trade. LFS also tried to sell me a couple of pacu's that were in the same tank with the bala's, but I told them i didn't have a tank big enough for them. Hope they find a good home.
