These girls were all about 4ft each. There were about 20 of them. Apparently they when they turn 7 years of age they all turn female. These girls were all females.

They were in with mangrove jack, crocs, jardini and a huge sword fish.

Damn, do you know if they were in brackish or pure fresh??!!!... because that has got to be the BIGGEST Lutjanus argentimaculatus I've ever seen!! :y220d:

Im not 100% sure as I didnt ask.

But im guessing it was fresh.

There was also a random black belt cichlid in the tank. Can they handle brackish??

That Lutjanus argentimaculatus is the nicest I have ever seen. I think I have a few more photos of it.

It was such an impressive fish and has convinced me to make this fish my next addition. A wild caught :drool:

Very cool. I would guess with the Lutjanus and swordfish in there that quite a bit of salt is in the water. But either way, it's a great looking setup. Any pics of the swordfish?
 
I love the last two pics of the calcarifer. They all look like they are hanging around trying to find the exit...
