I really want to get a RTC or TSN but they both get too big. I want something large that is not too big for a 125.

Monster catfish for a 125 gallon?

Vulture still gonna push it in a 125 at 20" max. Search function on planet catfish will let you put in max desired size and you can narrow it down from there. I'd put in like a max size of nothing over 13-14".
Aguarunichthys are ~1' versions of large pims. They have a unique, powerful, muscular look. IMO, 125 will be too small for a full grown adult. http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/genus.php?genus_id=203

4 line pim (blochii) or a pimelodus ornatus woul work well. However I have found the ornatus is hard to come by without a steep price tag.

If your 125 is at least 2' wide, Sorubim sp. Could work. The problem with this genus is just that you never know for sure which species you get.. Some will stay at a foot some might reach 20"
