What's good folks, I've been a fishkeeper for 10 years having a 150-gallon tank with Oscars, common plecos, Hoplosternum, sailfin plecos, and one Metynnis, but had to sell it when I moved out of my parents house, however I am shortly moving back there and I'm thinking of getting a larger tank with something more impressive, most likely a bottom dweller, so which one of the so called "Monster catfishes" (growing larger than 1,5 ft) would you recommend as the easiest to keep?

They all eat like pigs are grow huge. No matter what you will have to give them away at 24+ inches. Myself I love the redtail cat but won't get one. I also love the look if the tsn also great looking fish.

This is my new favorite use to be red tail. I like the shape.

Welcome Joey! Please define what tank you plan to keep the fish in, then it will be easier for the folks to give you a sensible advice.

I don't think there is scale of monster catfish, from easiest to the hardest. Hard-to-keep... several can be named, but easiest? Plethora are equally easy.

Then what size? As guys said above, RTC is easy, but for a "small" 3' adult RTC you will need a tank footprint of 12' by 6' at a minimum, IMO and every reputable expert I know.
