monster catfish that stay under 2ft

Im looking for a monster cat that isnt a tank buster like rtc and tsn, preferably south american buy im interested in all suggested catfish

Vulture, lima shovelnose, irwini(giant talking catfish). Check out planetcatfish.com theres a search feature that lets you look through there database and you can select max and minimum sizes.

I am not sure the forum area for African non-Rift cichlids is going to be the area to get the best responses about South American catfish. There is a catfish forum on this site that might get you better answers.

Irwini get to 28inch, a cool mini monster that comes to mind is albino hemibagrus nemurus, asia but cool, they rarely pass 15inch and have the attitude and looks of the wyckii. Gulper catfish, giant bumblebee catfish, ornate pimlodus, black driftwood catfish. There's a few to get ya going!-) oh and apurensis but they get to 2ft and fat as ya leg...
