No, it pretty much acts that way all the time... dark, light, rain or shine!

Scared the crap out of me one time... was lifting the lid up about to feed, and suddenly it jumped up and latched onto the plastic center brace!! Hung on and shook there like crazy for about 10 seconds, before finally letting go!!

I didn't feed that guy for about a week, after that?!!
