Monster Chalceus pair!

Well,not sure if they are an actual male and female pair or not but they are the biggest pink tails I have ever seen.

Are you talking about Chalceus macrolepidotus? Because these are definitely a different species.

Now that you've mentioned it they do lack the little characin adipose fin.These might be some type of barb?The shop labeled them as pink tails and I didn't notice the difference while I was there.

Yea looks very barb like to me. Without the red i would almost say masheer like. Very interested to see if anyone else knows exactly what they are.

they look like cigar sharks to me ( Leptobarbus hoevenii)

They're cigar sharks. We have like 8 of those in stock at my Lfs I work at rn. We actually call them gold sharks.
